Most Medals Boathouse
Duluth Rowing Club, Duluth, Minnesota
Duluth Rowing Club began to experience success and prestige between 1911 and 1923. From that period on, it has become one of the leading rowing clubs in Minnesota, winning and competing in several illustrious regattas all over the world. In fact, several rowers from the club have gone on to win medals in the Olympics, making their rowers some of the best in the world. Furthermore, the success of the club for nearly one hundred years is a landmark achievement few have accomplished.
Out of the boathouse row Junior, Master, and Senior crews, and the association also sponsors several Learn to Rows for new members to join either recreationally or competitively. The boathouse is over 125 years old and continues to stand strong to this day. Aside from just storing boats, it has also been used as a dance hall and a dormitory, adding character and history to its old, strong walls. If history is any indication, crews will be rowing with the Duluth Rowing Club on Lake Superior for a long time.
