| Description: | The Palmetto Rowing Club is 15 years old and is affiliated with the U.S. Rowing Association. It seeks to broaden the sport of rowing and welcomes persons of all abilities and experience. We are privileged to use the lower level of the Old Oyster Factory Restaurant as our boathouse. We have a floating dock for easy launching of our shells into Broad Creek, a marsh-bordered protected stretch of water nearly bisecting Hilton Head Island. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
