| Description: | The Farmington Valley Rowing Association was founded in 1982, in part, by parents of children who were on the Simsbury High School crew team. The club rents space from Friends of Simsbury Crew at the Paine Boat House on the Farmington River near the Drake Hill Bridge in Simsbury. FVRA membership consists of adults ranging in age from 18 years and up. FVRA, as a club, offers sculling and sweep recreational rowing and racing opportunities. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
