| Description: | The Cincinnati Junior Rowing Club (CJRC), is a youth rowing organization that is run as a non-profit, self-supporting corporation by the parents and supporters of young men and women from area junior high and high schools. Oarsmen train out of the Licking River, as well as the indoor training center, complete with indoor tanks and rowing machines, within the Montgomery Inn Boathouse on Eastern Avenue during the winter months. They participate in a season of local and out-of-town on-water regattas and indoor ergometer races throughout the rowing year. The boathouse properties house the rowing shells and equipment and allow these young athletes to participate in a variety of venues of the sport. |
