| Description: | Anchorage Rowing Association was founded in 1998 to bring the sport of rowing to Anchorage Alaska. Our on-the-water season starts when the ice breaks on Sand Lake in Anchorage (generally around the first week of May) and last until October when Sand Lake freezes. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
