Under the direction of coach Dr. Julio Garcia, we have become competitive in the southeast, traveling to various regattas throughout the year. Our team strives to learn and perform on a very competitive level. We work hard so we can row hard and deliver the best results at regattas. Our team bonds and becomes a tight-knit family every season. War Eagle!
	Birmingham Rowing Club, Inc. Hoover , AL United States	Club	The Birmingham Rowing Club is a recreational rowing club. Our home waters are located in Hoover, Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham. The club at this time has about 32 members. There are equal numbers of women and men, college age through 60s. Everyone is very friendly, help each other have a good time, and like to welcome newcomers.
	Black Warrior Rowing Club Tuscaloosa , AL United States	Club	The Black Warrior Rowing Club (BWRC) is a non-profit social sporting club founded in 2008 for the masters (age 21 and up) rowing community in the West Alabama region. The Black Warrior River runs between the cities of Tuscaloosa and Northport, and provides a wonderful venue for recreational and competitive rowers alike. The BWRC is mainly a sweep rowing club, in which each rower has a single oar and rows with a crew of 4 or 8 rowers plus coxswain.

The club rows on the Tennessee River, primarily in a channel protected from wind and waves by Hobbs Island.
